Commuting & Riding - August 12

It was hard to get going this morning since I stayed up too late last night looking at goodies for the WR250R. This morning started out cool, about 70F. I took a different route today and rode down Lexington past Lake Josephine and saw some people out having fun water skiing. I stopped and watched for a bit and took a couple photos. It was a very beautiful day this morning and a very relaxing ride into work.

After work, I went out for another ride with the goal of finally getting to 600 miles on the WR250R, which I did. I am taking it in to Waldoch for it's first service tomorrow morning. They will change the oil, adjust the valves, and double check everything else on the bike. Unfortunately, they will also be replacing the front brake lever. Hopefully, I will get my new handguards soon.

The rest of the ride was nice and I spent some more time exploring Carlos Avery. This was also nearby and fun.
