Spring?

The snow melted over the weekend, and we got to see a touch of green grass. It is snowing heavily again as I type this. We might get eight inches and further north over 16!

  1. Nice.

I'm thinking the snow queen has taken over the Twin Cities.

It must been a great year to be a Minnesota Twin fan.

  2. That isn't Spring....

Remind me never to leave Oregon for the midwest until at least June.

So.....how much snow did you get?

    1. Yes, it isn't spring. It's awful. Record breaking awful in fact. Latest it has taken MN to get to 60f. Very NOT normal. No snow when I left on my Alaska trip last year, just some rain.

We got three inches. Very pretty how it stuck to the trees.

You're coming in June? Sweet ;-)

    3. SUPPOSED to get warm in a couple days. *fingers crossed* for you. BTW: I also gave up shoveling/snow blowing at the beginning of the month. We're just letting it melt and trusting AWD and 2WD.

  4. Thankfully in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities we only received a couple of inches.

    1. We received 3-4. Roads were clear on the way in, but folks were driving like they were covered in snow. looking forward to some warmer weather.

  5. Chris:

can't believe it. First: last year you had record breaking heat (which we never got), then now you have record snows and temps (our winter was the mildest in a long time)

hoping it clears up for you soon

    1. I guess MN is all about breaking records lately :) Last year was pretty nice. I could've gone for that again. Riding in January on two wheels was awesome.

Looks like the weather broke yesterday with high 40s. Today looks like it might make it to 50F.
