Motorcycle First Thursday–November 2012

First Thursday - November 2012

Yesterday was First Thursday at Dulono’s Pizza in Minneapolis. Earlier in there year this event would have drew in over a thousand motorcycles, but now the number of bikes matched the temperature. It was in the low 30s (F).

First Thursday - November 2012

This was the first one I’ve been able to make in several months. It was nice to visit with friends and catch up on summer adventures.

When I left, it was dark and there was only three bikes counting my SV650. I was happy to have my heated coat for the brisk ride home.

  1. Given the time of the year and the temperatures going with it I would say there are still a lot of riders out there.
Meanwhile the wimpy riders on the west coast have already mothballed their bikes.

    1. the number of motorcycles i see on my commutes has dropped sharply. most people have put their bikes away here too, but the rest of us are enjoying the last gasps of fall before the snow flies.

  2. Chris:

I was worried about you. You had been absent. We were going to send out the search party

It's nice to attend a bike night once in a while, just to socialize and meet up with friends.

  3. Brrrr. With those temperatures only the die hards were out for a ride.

Good to see you posting up. Now we know you are alive and well. Say hello to Mrs. Everyday Riding for us.

  4. Missed you, glad you're back and posting. I enjoy bike nights, especially when everyone rides, ours is coming up this week and hope for a decent turnout despite the predicted rain.
