Three Weeks to Go!

Three weeks from right now, and I expect to be in North Dakota sharing dinner with some extended family as I head West and then North to Alaska.

Here is a short video showing the general route of my ride. I have a few waypoints marked in my GPS for people I want to meet and places I want to see, but the rest will be made up day-to-day as conditions and situations change.

Looking forward to meeting many of you in May and June!

  1. Looking forward to seeing you. I talked to some other riders and they said that the roads should all be open but there could be snow at the higher elevations. Tools and a garage if you want to do any maintenence.

    1. looking forward to seeing you as well! I don't anticipate any maintenance that early in the trip (other than chain *bleh*), but it is nice to know i have a space if i need it.

  3. Wow, that looks fun. You've got a lot in there, too. Alaska, the Pacific Coast ride. I'm envious and will be following along.

Let me know if you need anything while you're in San Diego.

  6. Chris,
Just found your site.. still checking it out. Anyway I did that exact trip except from MN to San Diego PCH to Seattle. I flew my wife into San Diego and sent her packing in Seattle. That looks fun!
